Hello! My name is Jacob Hoogerwerf and I am the Founder and President of Fuerza Design, a graphic and web design firm completely ran and operated by college students. I founded Fuerza in December of 2013 with some friends from high school. Fuerza was designed to be a small company that would help fellow small companies gain an online presence with a strong brand. While our size is beginning to change, with students from all across the country working with Fuerza, our priorities remain the same. The culture regarding web and graphic design encourages businesses to pick one of two options: pay an outlandish amount of money or try to function without a website or branding. Fuerza Design’s goal is to provide the quality services of a bigger firm at a price any business can afford. In our first year of business, Fuerza has provided web and graphic services at approximately 22% of the national average cost for similar work. As a 19 year-old student with a passion for responsible business, nothing makes me happier than helping businesses grow and being part of something innovative. While I dedicate myself to Fuerza almost full time, I am involved in a variety of other programs and occupations
